On Saturday May 2, Blast Galaxy transforms into a high-energy celebration of
chiptune music, live performance, retro gaming culture, and club atmosphere.
From 19:00 until 00:30, visitors get access to the full venue:
the arcade, lounge, and terrace. Throughout the evening, you can experience
live artists and DJs, enjoy the unique atmosphere of Blast Galaxy, and move
between the dancefloor and our arcade floor whenever you like. The event will also be
streamed live.
Whether you already love chip music or are simply curious about a different kind of
electronic night out, WARPZONE LVL-3 is designed to be both welcoming and unforgettable.
What is chiptune?
Chiptune is electronic music made using sound chips from vintage computers,
consoles, and handheld gaming devices, or inspired by those sounds. It takes the tones many
people associate with classic video games and transforms them into full musical performances:
danceable, emotional, playful, intense, and often surprisingly powerful live.
What makes chiptune special is that many artists perform using real hardware,
such as Game Boys and other retro devices, rather than only laptops or
standard DJ equipment. The result is a sound that feels raw, nostalgic, and energetic.
At WARPZONE LVL-3, that sound comes in many forms: from glitchy grooves and funky basslines
to jungle, UK hardcore, and high-energy dancefloor tracks.
